1. Payment Schedule
A 25% deposit is required upfront to secure your booking. The final payment is due no later than three weeks before the wedding date.
All payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the bridal party. However, we offer a one-time date change if requested at least three weeks before the original wedding date.
2. Refund Policy
In the unlikely event that Sugardinc cannot fulfill the order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments can be made via EFT or cash (subject to reasonable circumstances). Cakes will not be handed over until full payment is received.
4. Design Disclaimer
While every effort is made to match the agreed design, cakes may not be an exact replica of the design discussed. Sugardinc reserves the right to use artistic license to ensure the best possible outcome.
5. Liability After Delivery
Once the cake has been delivered and set up at the venue, Sugardinc is no longer responsible for the cake’s condition or handling.
6. Delivery and Setup
A delivery and setup fee will apply, depending on the location of the venue. This will be included in the final invoice. • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a suitable and stable location for the cake at the venue.
Should you decide to collect your own wedding cake, Sugardinc will not be held responsible for any damages or issues that occur during transport or setup.
7. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
Sugardinc takes no responsibility for allergic reactions or dietary issues. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, and other allergens.
8. Storage and Consumption
Cakes can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months if properly preserved in suitable packaging. Ensure the cake is tightly wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in an airtight container to maintain its freshness and prevent freezer burn.
It is the customer’s responsibility to store and consume the cake appropriately. Cakes should be kept in a cool, dry environment and consumed within 24-48 hours for optimal freshness. Sugardinc is not responsible for the quality of the cake after this time.
9. Weather Conditions
Sugardinc is not responsible for the impact of weather conditions (e.g., extreme heat or humidity) on the cake once delivered. Cakes containing perishable decorations or fillings must be stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
10. Consultation and Tasting
Cake consultations and tastings are available upon request and may incur an additional fee. This fee will be deducted from your total order if you proceed with the booking.
11. Amendments to Orders
Any changes to the design, size, or flavor of the cake must be requested at least four weeks before the wedding date. Additional costs may apply for late amendments.
12. Non-Edible Items
Some cakes may include non-edible supports or decorations for structural or aesthetic purposes. Customers are responsible for ensuring these are removed before serving.
13. Photography Rights
Sugardinc reserves the right to take photographs of the cake for promotional purposes, both before and after delivery.
